  • While most congregations either remain small and intimate or grow into large institutions, this project seeks ways for a church to grow while maintaining personal nurture and support. Developing the concept of community as an expansion of the existing family identity, was implemented in a combined sermon series and initiation of groups focusing on outreach, mutual support, and reflection on faith. Participants indicated their model of church was expanded and experience provided a sense of partnership.
