Abstracto

The thesis of this ministry praxis is that rural ministry has significant value in the modern world. Throughout the Scriptures and the history of the Christian church, God has revealed his heart for rural people and places. The purpose of this praxis was to encourage and equip pastors for effective rural ministry through biblical, historical, and practical reflection. A group of eight rural pastors participated in a series of four one-hour workshops and a one-hour discussion session. The director was able to assess the value of the praxis through questionnaires and a discussion forum. The ministry praxis accomplished its objectives.
