Abstrait

This project responded to the insufficient provision of continuing education for nursing home administrators in the spiritual needs of nursing home residents and how those needs might be met. It reviewed the aging process, the spiritual needs of the elderly, and the impact of addressing the spiritual needs of the elderly. A design for a continuing education workshop for nursing home administrators was developed, tested, and evaluated. A practical workshop that satisfies the requirements for the continuing education of nursing home administrators in the state of Ohio is outlined.
