This project provides a foundation and a framework for the pastoral care of parents and adolescents. The author's belief is that parents of adolescents are often those who are most in need of pastoral care in the local church but are often over-looked. Parents of adolescents face not only the issue of de-parenting their adolescent but the concomitant issues that are a part of middle age. The re-orientation of life and faith that comes at this time in the life-cycle provides the caring pastor and church with opportunities to manifest the grace of God.
