  • The focus of this research project was to study African-American church leaders' reactions to the integration of Servant Theology in sermons, Bible study and workshops at Union Baptist Church in Baltimore City, Maryland. Church leaders provided descriptive responses to their observations which surveyed and assessed their understanding and willingness to adopt Servant Leadership into their respective church ministries. The qualitative surveys were compiled for purposes of shaping future sermons topics, increasing participation in Bible studies, and the construction of additional workshop training as well as for reviewing the needs and requirements mandating a more effective understanding of Servant Leadership.
