Abstracto

The focus of this project was to assist certain church members in discovering and utilizing spiritual gifts. A training event consisting of eight one-hour sessions was conducted for twelve members of the congregation. The first four sessions dealt with spiritual gift discovery while the final four sessions dealt with discovering an appropriate ministry setting in which to use targeted gifts. Each member was able to discover at least one spiritual gift. Furthermore, each participant developed a written covenant of ministry which specified an appropriate ministry action within the local church setting which utilized a targeted spiritual gift.
