This project focused on researching the biblical elements of the nature and function of the church and developing a Spiritual Growth Assessment Instrument to measure spiritual growth in the local church. A unique element of the developed assessment instrument was the identification of spiritual growth within the context of the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains of competency.
