This purpose of the project was to improve discipleship through adult Christian education at the Dayton Vineyard Church in Beavercreek, Ohio, where the researcher, is the Discipleship Pastor. The focus was on intentional discipleship through an adult Christian education program of Bible, in combination with behavioral and spiritual disciplines to increase biblical knowledge, change behavior, and change attitudes toward discipleship. The data suggests that there were positive changes in biblical literacy, attitude, the practice of spiritual disciplines, and in making disciples. Good works in the community are not enough to produce disciples of Jesus; the church needs quality Christian education.
