- This project proposes that, as preachers and individuals that are often dissatisfied, we are in need of a closer relationship with God. Looking first at our dilemma as 'people of the cloth,' it then offers one method of prayer and meditation, that of Ignatius of Loyola, that can assist us toward greater health, a deeper relationship with God, and a maturing, honest approach to preaching. Through personal testimony, and the experience of others, the project concludes that an enhancement of prayer and meditation in our lives has the ability to increase our satisfaction and joy, and directly affect our preaching.
