Abstrait

This project was designed to address the need for identity, as a church body, for the members of New Beginning Full Gospel Baptist Church in Decatur, Georgia. Six sessions of structured experiences were developed and implemented with a group of adult leaders to enhance their understanding of Baptist history and the Pentecostal movement. The learning experiences were framed by scripture, theology, and each leader journaling. Results of the model were evaluated by qualitative analysis instruments and show that leaders grew in knowledge of Baptist history, the Pentecostal movement, and redefined their identity as Full Gospel Baptists.
