Abstracto

The purpose of this project was to equip selected members of Forest Park Baptist Church, Randleman, North Carolina, in personal disciple making. To achieve the goals for this project, the project director utilized an equipping model. The first phase of the project involved researching many different resources in the field of discipleship, disciple-making, and spiritual disciplines. The project director utilized these resources to produce the lessons used to equip the selected group. The second phase was to develop lesson plans to teach in a seminar format. The final phase of the project involved implementing the seminar for the training of the selected group. The seminar consisted of an introduction session, ten lessons during five sessions, and a concluding session. The seminar was conducted on five Sunday evenings. Evaluation of the project confirmed that the seminar was effective in training the selected group to become personal disciple makers.
