Abstract

This project focuses on and facilitates Christian maturity in adults through the design and implementation of a biblically oriented, competency-based Christian Maturity Inventory (CMI) assessment instrument. The writer conducts a short-term pilot study utilizing his CMI with a small group of adults in his adult educational church ministry and presents an analysis of the results. The project consists of four chapters and an expanded appendix which contains the CMI and pre- and post-assessment instruments used in the actual study. The author writes from an evangelical, Christian educational perspective while integrating theological and psychological studies.
