Abstract
  • The goal of the project was to determine the value of narrative biblical storytelling in the program mission and ministry of a local church. Storytelling workshops were conducted in which the participants learned biblical stories, reflected theologically about those stories and related the stories to their personal lives. The stories then were shared with other members of the congregation. The results indicated that narrative biblical storytelling could serve as a helpful means by which a local congregation could design its program, its mission and its ministry.
