Abstract
  • The hypothesis of this paper is that there are eight key factors to determine and secure in order to launch a viable multi-site church. They are: vision, staff, lay leaders and core volunteers, finances, location and facility, ministries, technology and equipment, governance and operations structures. Nine churches that have successfully launched multi-sites were selected as field participants. A developed survey was administered to the participants and the results analyzed to validate or invalidate the hypothesis. With the exception of structures, all factors proved to be crucial in the minds of our subjects when it comes to starting a new site.
