Abstract
  • This project proposes that a mentor-protégé relationship facilitated over 10 weeks will reinforce persuasive messages about relational evangelism so that believers will experience a significant, measurable increase in their involvement in relational evangelism. The project administers an evangelism aptitude test to members of a relational evangelism seminar; the 15 members with highest scores become mentors to the 15 members with lowest scores. After 10 weeks of mentor training the 15 protégés score higher than 15 members of a randomly selected control group in every category of the aptitude test.
