  • The purpose of this major project is to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of youth ministers in retaining and dismissing volunteers in youth ministry. It is hoped that God may use this major project to provide the necessary framework for transforming youth ministry models in dealing with volunteers. Chapter 1 introduces the goals, objectives, and limitations of the project. Chapter 3 addresses the historical background and significance of the project. Chapter 4 narrates the development, methodology, and procedures used to achieve the goals and objectives. Chapter 5 gives recommendations which were found as a result of the research. This chapter lists specific ways to retain and dismiss volunteers. Youth ministers and volunteers across the country have assisted me in coming up with situations that cause conflicts between youth ministers and volunteers.
