Abstrait

Bible study materials are more effective when the cognitive processes of the students are considered. The writer surveyed Korean cognitive processes in literature and in the field. Given the results, guiding principles were developed for effective Bible study materials based on an inductive method. A sample study was developed by applying the guiding principles and tested with two other American curricula for comparison in the field. The result proved that the material was most effective among the three in communication and understanding the content of the message for Korean Christians.
