Abstracto

The overall goal of this project was to develop a plan to integrate an active prayer ministry into the life of the congregation. The project was developed through the research of the theological basis for prayer, the survey of congregational prayer habits and beliefs, the preaching of a prayer message series. The findings were developed into a plan to integrate an active prayer ministry into the congregation's life. The plan includes the development of a prayer leadership community, a time of regular intercessory prayer, the communication of emergency prayer needs and prayer as a part of the congregational worship services.
