Abstracto

Evangelism is the work of the whole church as it seeks to incarnate the mission of God. This project recognizes the triune God as a community (or 'system') acting in the world as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The trinitarian theology of Leonardo Boff and the congregational systems theories of George Parsons and Speed Leas can help a local church develop and implement a sound programmatic plan for evangelism. A planning retreat for church leaders employed theological reflection and a congregational systems questionnaire to establish priorities for church programming.
