Abstracto

The aim of this project was to address some of the needs of Hispanic couples by breaking down negative or improper communication patterns and establishing new ones. The project was comprised of seventeen sessions with the participation of ten couples. Tests (the Marital Communication and the Taylor-Johnson Temperment Analysis inventories), exercises, personal journals, and covenants were some of the tools used to bring each individual to gain a better view as to how he or she was actually communicating with the spouse and to exemplify ways of communication that were conducive to a more harmonious marital relationship.
