Abstrait

This ministry project attempted to develop, conduct and evaluate a program of training for potential Sunday School teachers. The method of study included research on the primary sources in both religious and secular education and on secondary sources and practical helps. This research resulted in twelve one and one-half hour training sessions which trained thirteen persons. Six began teaching immediately. The project concluded that laity will respond positively to a teacher training program that treats them as persons who are capable of understanding and assimilating challenging material.
