The author designed a program using biblical and psychological insights to provide an excellent environment conducive to personal and marital growth. The eight-week workshop, comprised of one and one-half hour sessions, was facilitated by lecture, dialogue, a prepared manual, handouts, a viewing of a video VCR, testing, the writing of a learning covenant, personal conferences with the pastor and a qualified counselor in an interpretation and evaluation of individual test results, and growth exercises.
