Abstrait

The purpose of this project is to lay out a plan for equipping and guiding the local church to more closely follow the biblical teaching regarding the role of the local church in selecting, training, evaluating, and placing men in pastoral ministry. Included is an extensive exposition of biblical narratives and directives in the New Testament that indicate the need for the local church and her leaders to be intimately and extensively involved in the whole process of raising up men for pastoral ministry. A section is included regarding the relationship betweeen the seminary and the local church.
