  • This project is designed to help cancer patients, family and friends move toward spiritual and emotional health in the face of a chronic illness. Through the use of a story hermeneutic, the project integrates the areas of biblical study and pastoral care by bringing into dialogue the cancer patient and the biblical story of Job. When it is presented in a workshop format this dialogue can draw out and help persons deal with emotional and spiritual issues. It provides new alternatives for living with cancer and new ways of experiencing God in times of illness.
