Abstract
  • The purpose of this project was to enhance the project director's ability to develop rapport while preaching to unacquainted teenage audiences. The project director began this project by studying relevant works that address how to develop rapport when preaching to teenagers. After interviewing teenagers and itinerant communicators, the project director identified three preaching techniques that communicators can use to develop rapport with unacquainted teenage audiences. After improving his ability to use the three selected skills, the project director used an expert evaluation, an audience evaluation, and a self-evaluation to analyze his rapport-building technique while preaching to an unacquainted teenage audience.
