Abstracto

The project revealed a tremendous weakness in regard to the practice of Christian disciplines for spiritual growth. A ten part sermon series was developed and delivered on the following disciplines: inner life, prayer, confession, reading and journaling, Bible study, meditation, devotional life, fasting, personal worship, and ministry. Sermons were reinforced through distribution of outlines and worksheets as well as through the encouragement of additional reading. Comparison of before and after surveys revealed substantial improvement in the practice of the disciplines. An extensive bibliography was developed as part of the project.
