Abstrait

God calls all Christians to minister, and that the main calling of church leaders is to 'equip the people.' In order to help lay people find God's will for their ministry a tool needs to be developed in order to enable the laity to better match their abilities and gifts to ministry opportunities. The author researched the biblical material concerning God's call and spiritual gifts. The ministry opportunities at Green Acres Baptist Church were then studied, and which gifts matched which opportunities. The author then conducted a ministry discovery workshop to help lay people looking for ministry positions to find them. Research indicated that most people who went through the workshop were helped in their quest to find a ministry which was appropriate for them.
