Abstract
  • This project proposes that the 'reframing' method used in pastoral counseling can be employed as a homiletical strategy to help people view their lives 'from God's perspective' so that they realize that their lives have ultimate purpose and value. The project demonstrates this strategy with the congregation of First Presbyterian Church (Grapevine, Tex). When these people experience a shift in perspective, new meaning for life emerges.
