Abstract
  • The Doctor Ministry Project implemented Situational Leadership concepts developed by Kenneth H. Blanchard into the context of ministry. Eight ministers volunteered to receive training and implement the training into their ministries. Each minister enlisted team members from their ministry setting in order to accomplish a specific task. The ministers and team members used assessment instruments to track changes in leadership behavior. The project's goal was to answer the question; 'Is Situational Leadership valuable and useful in the context of ministry?' This project was effective and provided a tool for ministerial leadership. This project enabled some ministers to become more effective and enhanced the quantitative and qualitative outcomes of specific tasks.
