- Abstract
- This project dealt with the needs of bivocational pastors in the Greene County, Missouri Baptist Association. Four needs were discovered during a meeting of bivocational pastors. Pastoral care, family time, preaching and time management were addressed in separate workshops which lasted one full day each. All of the workshops examined the time problem for the bivocational pastor in his roles as pastor and as secular employee. The project found that much more attention must be directed to the dual roles of the bivocational pastor. In addition, efforts must be made to aid in raising the self-esteem of the bivocational pastor.
