- Abstract
- The intention of this project is, through parent education, to reduce the communication conflict between Korean parents and their teenagers and to strengthen the family relationship. Four parent education sessions are developed with five practical home Bible study lessons for experiment. The pastoral role models applied are the caring shepherd, guide shepherd, mediator, and vision giver. The teaching methods used are Groome's shared praxis approach and Westerhoff's enculturation. The results came out as very positive, and it is meaningful when we think most Koreans are traditionally known as passive and reluctant to get involved in group activity in an educational environment.
