Abstrait

This project addresses the need for a viable teacher training model to be utilized by Black congregations. This model helps congregations determine whether a pedagogical or andragogical approach to teaching and learning is the most appropriate for that particular context. Eight chapters focus on key areas of the teaching/learning experience. A theoretical consideration of each topic is offered, as well as a practical teaching/learning strategy that can be utilized within teacher training sessions. This model, with contextual modifications, is applicable to any Black context of ministry.
