Abstract
  • The focus of this project was the attempted transformation and recovery of church life at Jones Chapel A.M.E. Church, Elyria, Ohio. This transformation was addressed by implementing a five-step program of enhancing the areas of worship life, music, fellowship, health, and Christian education. These areas were enhanced by workshops, programs, restructuring, and awareness seminars. The implementation phase of the project lasted six months. The project produced the emergence of a deeper involvement of the congregation in the ministries and a concern for the wellness and development of the congregation and its members.
