  • The purpose of this project was to develop and implement hospitality ministry to visitors of North Cleveland Baptist Church which would enhance their interest in regularly attending this church. The concept of hospitality to strangers provided the biblical and theological foundation for this enterprise. Questionnaires and interviews were used to determine the needs of church visitors, the effectiveness of ministries to these guests, and the influence upon church leaders participating in the exercise. The project not only enhanced visitor retention but also demonstrated the value of quality overall ministry beyond the expressions of welcome directed primarily to church guests.
