  • The Saint Paul-Wesley Chapel charge offered a ministry of mercy named WeKare. WeKare proved that churches have a role to play in the education of children with behavior and/or academic problems. WeKare accomplished this by formulating the biblical and theological foundations of the project, researching the problem, implementing and evaluating the project. The charge lived their faith by offering twelve weeks of mentoring to the students. After mentoring, interviewing the students, the mentors, teachers, and members of the advisory committee revealed that the church has a role to play, but it cannot replace the role of the parents.
