  • This project is focussed toward developing a congregational identity in a local church after a period of rapid expansion and growth. It begins by analyzing the book of Nehemiah and Acts 2:42-47 as biblical models for community after periods of change. The project also examines contemporary corporate models for building community and organizational identity. Attention is given to such issues as visionary leadership, the team concept of business, and the role of covenants. This work concludes with the details and evaluation of the project itself, which includes a believer's worship service, intercessory prayer ministry, and covenant membership.
