Abstrait

This mentoring program consisted of eight sessions. The overall goal was to strengthen marriages through marriage enrichment and to assist younger couples in strengthening their marriage through a mentoring process. The teaching methods used during the sessions were lecture, group discussions, questionnaires, participant interaction, and take-home assignments. Initially five couples attended the first session and four other couples joined the group beginning in session two. A study of the written evaluations reveals that the goals were reached. A majority of the couples have indicated a desire to continue the project by becoming mentors to other couples.
