Abstrait

This project discovered the reasons for the lack of shared leadership in St. James AMEC, Whiteville, North Carolina. Eighteen (18) participants completes a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire that produced inconclusive results. An additional inquiry revealed the following. The men will not come forward to lead. There is lack of training. Some believe that the women control everything. The members are afraid of responsibility and criticism. Some believe that no problem exists. The findings also show a lack of maturity and love amongst the leaders and the members.
