This project enhances the understanding and participation of kindergarten/first grade children and their parents in worship while, at the same time, enhances the understanding of the adult members of the congregation concerning the place of children in worship. The project accomplished this task through a six-week course on worship for kindergarten/first grade children and their parents, children's bulletins, two sermons, a pew pamphlet, and a baptism renewal/baptism service. The report establishes the need along with the theological rationale for including children in worship. The components of the project then are described in detail.
