Abstrait

The purpose of this project is to equip Fellowship of Christian Athletes faculty advisors and volunteers in Wayne County, Tennessee, with leadership competencies. The project director will research the field of leadership in order to identify key concerns for leadership competency. She will then develop curriculum to lead a multi-session workshop for the participants. The project director will enlist for this workshop those who currently serve or are anticipated to serve as faculty advisors or adult volunteers in leadership positions. Participants will learn the theological basis for serving in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes ministry with young people and develop skills to provide competent leadership. The project director will evaluate attainment of project and professional goals through expert evaluator feedback, participant discussion, comparative chart of pre- and post-tests and participant evaluations.
