This project presents a pastor-counselor program designed to aid church leaders in stress management through seven monthly workshops. As a result of the educational endeavor twelve couples from two churches accomplish observable progress in their perception and understanding as well as in their handling of stress. Information on stress is presented through lectures and exercises. Scripture reinforces the program and assures a Christian experiennce. Pre and post testing reveal positive results in stress management. The Comprehensive Scale of Stress Assessment (Charles Sheridan, University of Missouri) is the evaluation tool.
