  • This project seeks to answer the question, how do you train the believer to reach and disciple the unbeliever while enriching his own understanding of the Christian faith? The project model develops a method of biblical study that allows the lay person to engage his secular counterpart with the gospel, while at the same time enriching his own theological understanding of the Christian faith. It results in the creation of a home Bible study that provides the believer with material that engages the unbeliever with the saving claims to Christ. The project analyzes the biblical teachings of Jesus concerning discipleship as evangelism, studies the influence of Charles G. Finney and his connection to 'decisional regeneration,' critiques several discipleship programs, and proposes the creation of the home Bible study as a possible solution.
