Abstract
  • The purpose of this project was to create a retreat model that would enhance spiritual renewal among pastors and ministry leaders serving in the Grace Communion International denomination. The curriculum encourages participation in spiritual formation exercises, communion, and fellowship that open the way for a deeper relationship with God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The retreat model was reviewed and evaluated by a panel of experts in the fields of spiritual formation and Christian leadership. The results revealed a highly favorable view of the effectiveness of the model in positioning retreat participants for an experience of authentic spiritual renewal.
