- Abstract
- This project presents an 11-week small-group course to aid Christians in learning practical skills that will enable them to develop good friends in local churches. Participants in a test of this course in a local congregation of the Christian Reformed Church developed a deeper level of friendship with existing friends and added new friends in the congregation, but they did not report an increased level of ownership and sense of belonging in the life and ministry of the church.
