  • The purpose of this project was to conduct research in the field of leadership and produce a workbook for training lay leaders in effective leadership. The research utilized both secular and church leadership materials and focused on certain leadership elements including the call of the leader, the character of the leader, and the competencies of the leader. The components of this project include: a research paper on leadership essentials, a workbook for effective leadership in the church, and an accompanying leader's guide for that workbook. The project director utilized the ministry research model for this project.
