Abstract

This project involved the development of an adult continuing education course for the External Studies Division of the Moody Bible Institute. The course title is 'Christians in a Scientific World' and focuses on the historicity and scientific defensibility of the first eleven chapters of the book of Genesis. The course is intended for laypersons and is apologetic in nature, dealing with the various aspects of the controversy between creation and evolution. The course was originally taught on Radio School of the Bible over the Moody Broadcasting Network. The edited transcripts of the sixty-five broadcasts appear in the appendix and constitute the bulk of the project.
