  • A handbook has been developed to aid churches in ministering to the wives of their ministers--an area that has received very little attention in print. Several questionnaires were designed and used in surveying a total of more than one hundred pastors, their wives, the chairmen of their boards, and denominational leaders. The responses from these people, along with a review of contemporary literature, form the basis for the handbook. The handbook lists four guiding principles in ministering to pastors' wives and follows with twenty-six possible suggestions, indicating specific demonstrations of encouragement.
