Abstract
  • The purpose of this project is to discover common formational elements in the virtue-based leader in the Assemblies of God. It begins with a study of the lives of Moses and Paul, and then reviews select, current leadership literature. This project interviewed 14 Assemblies of God leaders, and found that a pre-adolescent experience of faith in Christ and a stable home life were foundational in their lives. The premise of virtue-based leadership places preeminence on the character of the leader over the results of value-based leaders, namely money and people.
