- Abstract
- This project involves the creation of a collaborative academic ministry model (CAM) that bridges the gap between the academy and the church in Black church studies Doctor of Ministry programs. Research conducted identified that other Black church studies Doctor of Ministry programs may have gaps relating to collaborative efforts between the academy and practical ministry. A survey questionnaire was used to identify the interest in participating in such a model and the structural design for the model. The data supports the [notion that the ] model is unique and necessary and its collaborative design can spearhead transformation in the Black community.
