- This project is an attempt to plan and implement a program of lay ministry in the area of evangelism, within the context of a local church setting. In many local churches the concept of lay ministry does not include participation in the area of evangelism. It is the author's belief that the ministry of evangelism is best achieved when a local church's outreach is shared by laypersons and pastors. The main objectives of this project are to develop and lead a workshop which will enable church members to participate in the evangelistic ministry of the local church. These objectives are accomplished through an eighteen-hour workshop experience.
